A little about me...
Where to start? I'm a deeply creative person with a passion for editing, reading, and writing. When I'm not immersed in literature and copy, I love to explore other crafts, such as embroidery and costume making.
Presently, I'm looking for work in publishing and editing. I've just finished my Creative Writing degree, including my dissertation - a 45 page screenplay exploring the ways in which we can make medieval fantasy a more welcoming place from a very practical standpoint. It's a project I'm indescribably excited about, and I'm looking onwards to it's future and investigating the best ways to take it beyond my degree.
Using Upwork, I work as a freelance script consultant, editing and giving valuable feedback to help my clients produce the best version of their screenplays. I also provide this service for free to film students at my university, as I believe in supporting the work of fellow artists building their portfolio. To find out more about the feature-length films I've had the pleasure of script-consulting, please see @dogs_breakfast_film and @end_of_everything_film on Instagram.

Current Projects
I've just received the grade for my biggest piece yet, a dissertation of 45 pages of medieval-fantasy script and 3000 words of critically reflective essay. 'The Witch and The Princess' is the pilot episode of a television series centered upon Cressida and Adeline, a witch and a princess, caught in a love affair on opposite sides of a revolution. I'm proud to say that my hard work has paid off: I was awarded a First for this project and I look forward to my graduation in October 2025.
'The Witch and The Princess' is inspired by Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien and The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon. I've always been an advocate for getting more diversity, particularly in terms of gender and sexuality, into TV and fantasy, and the best way to see things done is always to do them yourself. 'The Witch and The Princess' has been over a year in the making and I've been solidifying my research and editing skills alongside my writing.
